Rolling With Melia

RollingWithMelia established her brand in 2019 with a goal and purpose. Her plan was to motivate and inspire as many people as she could, from all walks of life, no matter their situation. Melia planned on doing so in front of the lens right from her custom, pink wheeled wheelchair. 

RollingWithMelia is a New Orleans native who's always held a passion for her city's food & culture. She was born and raised in the 7th ward of New Orleans where she would assist her grandmother with cooking from time to time. 

As Melia grew older, her cooking skills continued to advance. it wasn't until she became a mother of her own, that she discovered she had the skills to throw down in any kitchen. 

RollingWithMelia recently discovered her grandmother & grandfather owned & operated their own restaurant down in the ninth ward. Melia strongly believes that her cooking skills were gifted to her from her late grandparents, and she feels it’s her duty to continue their legacy.

The Original New Orleans Snack Box was established in 2020 at the beginning of the pandemic. What started out as a TikTok giveaway turned into a flourishing business overnight.
